Loving it!

So, life is slowly getting back to normal. My day job is getting less hectic and real estate is going well. I have busy showing my in-laws houses and it has been so fun! I love it!

On a side note, I need a Sprint Blackberry. If anyone out there knows of one for cheap or trade, let me know! I have an HTC Hero that I got in December. It has been in a body glove cover since I got it so it is in really good shape. I need a Blackberry for real estate because it can do things that my Hero can't.

I'm super excited that it is summer time! I am hoping to spend as much free time as I can with friends and family. 

Is it over yet?

This convention might be the death of me. Well, not actually... but I am ready for it to be over. And I am ready for a vacation. Someday, I will have a life again. :)

Busy

Well, life has been very busy around here! Greg has been shooting a wedding every weekend and I have been working like a maniac. I also got my real estate license! I am doing it part time and I am super excited about it! If you know anyone who wants to buy or sell a house in the Tulsa area, let me know!

Happy First Day of Spring from Oklahoma!

So, I don't have any pictures to post because, quite frankly, I don't want to remember this. Yesterday was the first day of spring and it SNOWED! Not just a light dusting of snow. But 8-10 inches of snow. I was scampering around in t-shirts and flip flops on Friday and then the sky opened up and ruined my pretty weather. Oh, well! I am hopeful that is the last time we will have any of that white stuff until it is winter again. Greg and I just made the best of the weather and enjoyed being able to just hang out for the weekend. He is getting ready to be really busy on the weekends from here on out so it was good.

Well, here is hoping for a quick work week and a long weekend ahead!

Sleepy brain and a random tip

I really don't have much to say today. We had a busy weekend filled with family gatherings and all that goes with that. I am already for the weekend.... is that bad? Oh, well. It will come soon enough. The only thing I can really think to write about is the lovely woman I saw at the grocery store today that prompted a random facebook status update. She was wearing shorts (I think) and an extra long (ugly?) t-shirt. She looked like a little kid running around in the t-shirt and diaper. It isn't a good look..... don't let anyone tell you otherwise. That is all! :)

Under Construction

So, the plumbers are coming tomorrow to do their thing in our renovations. Yay! After that we can really get stuff done that you can actually see (i.e. installing the flooring, toilet, tub, sink, etc.) I just keep telling myself that the sooner this gets done, the sooner we get to sell the house and move. :)

Well, my eyes are literally closing as I type so that is all for now.

I got the worst retail news I have ever received in my life today.........

Target is not doing Global Bazaar this year.

WHAT?!?!?!


I can't believe it. I look forward to it every year and love pretty much everything about it. I am so bummed they decided not to do it this year. I hope that it comes back next year.

This might call for a letter to someone at corporate. (ohmygoodnessthatsoundedlikemymother!)

Well, all I can hope is that they will change their minds.

In other news, I am so happy that spring is poking it's head out. I was pretty much over all that cold. Yay!

I'm Baaaaaack!

My friend, Tanae, started a blog and asked if I had one. So, since someone actually knows about my blog.... maybe I will keep it up? Hmmm... We shall see.

So, obviously things have gone on since September. Greg and I are right smack in the middle of moving bathrooms and doing some smaller renovations to our house. The plan is to have everything done and the house ready to see sometime in June. I think it can happen, it just depends on how busy Greg will be with work - and starting this month he is getting super busy. I know it will get done and it will look awesome when it is done! I'm just not known for my patience. Someone once told me not to pray for patience and they would tell me why later.....Ha!

Well, Greg and I have been looking for a church. We have gone to the Church at Battle Creek and like most of what they have going on, but I'm not totally sold on it. We have some friends that have invited us to Guts so we will probably try that out. It has been difficult to please us both since we grew up in such different churches. The good thing is we both want to find a church that is different from what we grew up in and have a pretty good idea of what we like and dislike - we just have to find a church that fits our needs.

Well, I think that is all for now. I am pretty tired and 6am seems to come earlier and earlier. Good night!
